The Sphere of Inluence Tour is coming through town and we are promoting the latest film from Absinthe Films Saturday September 6th 2008 at 8:00 pm at King Cat Theater! There will be Rider Appearances, games, prizes and more! Tickets are $7 dollars and $2 of each ticket will be donated to Protect Our Winters, Washington Bus & Conservation Northwest! Tickets are available now at our SLU store 263 Yale Ave N. and at the door (if available) So come get yourself a ticket and save the date and hang out with Snocon and Absinthe films!

Movie Night Tonight!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Friends and Troublemakers -

If you missed last week’s screening of FOXY BROWN you missed out on an epic time. And if you pass up RIDING GIANTS this evening we might have to kick your ass off the beach!

For those that don’t know, this Stacy Peralta-directed documentary chronicles the history of surfing — from its Polynesian roots up through the modern day — with incredible archival footage and dozens of interviews with dudes her were cool way before there was such a thing as being cool . You ever seen someone ride a wave that’s over six stories tall? Tonight you will.

Havana Movie Night is awesome. We drink booze under the stars. The City dims the streetlights for us. We set up the parking lot like a movie theater — there are a hundred chairs with their own beer cozies — and we roll out white leather furniture, palm trees, tiki torches, a full tiki bar and blue astroturf so that YOU can watch the movie in total comfort. The sound blows you away….

GOODS provides everyone with FREE popcorn. And, tonight, our good friends at SNOWBOARD CONNECTION are bringing a bagload of giveaways. DJ SEAN CEE and ILL COSBY, will provide the pre-movie and intermission soundtrack, and they’ll be the special guests of DJ CURTIS at the HOTEL/MOTEL afterparty. It’s $3/FREE with a stamp from THE SAINT. Doors are at 8:30. We’ll roll the film at around 9:30.
