The First Annual Retro Fool’s Day event went off on April 2, 2010. This event, locally organized by our friend Dave Billinghurst, is a rad contest designed to get people to dust off their relics and give them another day on the snow. There was a huge selection of old school gear and outfits, and a great time was had by all. After everyone had some fun shredding up the mountain, the contest got serious. There was a slalom race, with time deducted for competitor’s based on how old their gear was – the older it was – the more time you got off. Sweet! The first place winner was our own Marcel Dolack – you’d better recognize!!!
