Please join Grindline Skateparks and Seattle Parks and Recreation at the final two meetings for the Judkins Skatepark.

The meeting dates are Wed. Sept. 28 and Wed. Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Douglass Truth Branch Library.

At the second meeting we will provide concept designs and gather further input.  At the final meeting in October we will present the final project design.

On September 22, you can catch two new films presented by Videograss at the Spitfire in Seattle.  They’ll be showing Retrospect and Shoot The Moon.  The movies will begin at 8:30 PM followed by karaoke at 10 PM.

There is an article on the NOAA site that says we may be in for another La Niña winter this year.  Among all of the scientific data is this:
During September-November 2011, there is evidence that La Niña favors an increased chance of above-average temperatures across the mid-section of the country, and an increased chance of above-average precipitation across the Pacific Northwest…
