On October 28th from 5-8, Innerspace will hold a special skate jam sponsored by the Foundry. This event, open to all ages, will have special competitions and gifts as well as a limited edition Foundry t-shirt design.

Judkins Park Skatespot Meetings (9/28, 10/19)

From the City of Seattle:
Please join Grindline Skateparks and Seattle Parks and Recreation at the final two meetings for the Judkins Skatepark.
The meeting dates are Wed. Sept. 28 and Wed. Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Douglass Truth Branch Library.
At the second meeting we will provide concept designs and gather further input. At the final meeting in October we will present the final project design.

Lib-Tech will be holding a special two date skating event this weekend in Port Angeles and Forks. Dub Bowl Trouble will be landing at Port Angeles on September 24th and Forks on September 25th - both events will have cash prizes and an overall prize for the winner of the entire event. Entry is only $10.

On September 22, you can catch two new films presented by Videograss at the Spitfire in Seattle. They’ll be showing Retrospect and Shoot The Moon. The movies will begin at 8:30 PM followed by karaoke at 10 PM.

La Niña Returns For This Winter?

There is an article on the NOAA site that says we may be in for another La Niña winter this year. Among all of the scientific data is this:
“During September-November 2011, there is evidence that La Niña favors an increased chance of above-average temperatures across the mid-section of the country, and an increased chance of above-average precipitation across the Pacific Northwest…”

David Carrier Porcheron (DCP) will be in-store 9/15 4-6pm signing autographs before the Absinthe Twe12ve and Yes, It’s a Movie premiers. Come down to Snocon SLU and say hi to our favorite Quebexican and then go see him on the big screen at the Egyptian Theater 9/15. Doors at 9pm, Movie at 9:30pm.
Tickets for the movie are on sale at SnoCon for $15.

Give Jeans A Chance Is Back
